USA is DOMINATING and MEXICO can’t find a win under Rafa Marquez | DUEL NATS

Mauricio Pochettino has made one thing clear with his team selection this window: the youth is the future. With 11 different players being handed out their first senior international appearances, it’s been made clear that a new era has begun for the USA. Has Poch laid a solid foundation for the team so far in their games against Peru and Chile? Is Cavan Sullivan ready to step into the spotlight as the face of the team? Is Julian Hall the USMNT’s next number 9? Has Gio Reyna revitalized his international career and made himself a key part of Poch’s plans? And has any player had a better run than Sebastian Berhalter this window? Herculez Gomez and Sebastian Salazar break down these questions and compare the USMNT’s performance to Mexico. Have Rafa Marquez and “El Tri” lived up to the expectations? After back to back 1-1 draws against Colombia and Peru, has this been the next building block after Mexico’s World Cup performance? Or has this been a step back for Rafa’s squad? Are there enough young players in the Mexican pool to usher in fresh ideas and creativity? And has Gilberto Mora solidified himself as one of the key players heading into the 2030 World Cup?
